Description

The Sorcha Floor Length Coat is part of TRIONA's Modern Heirloom Collection AW26, inspired by the rugged beauty and natural textures of the Donegal landscape. Woven from 100% wool in a rich Brown herringbone with eye catching multi colour flecks, the fabric reflects the earthy tones of peat, weathered stone and windswept hills, while the subtle flecks of colour running through the yarn add depth and character to the timeless design. Naturally warm and structured, the pure wool fabric gives the coat its distinctive texture and beautiful drape.

Tailored to a full-length silhouette, the Sorcha is designed to create an elegant, elongated shape. A defined waist enhances the feminine fit, balanced by structured shoulders, wide notched lapels and a distinctive asymmetric button fastening that gives the coat a contemporary edge. Flap pockets at the hip, a single back vent and decorative three-button cuffs complete the refined tailoring, while the fully lined construction offers warmth and comfort throughout the cooler months.

This distinctive Donegal tweed is woven by hand in Ardara, Co. Donegal, continuing a generations-old weaving tradition that lies at the heart of Triona's heritage. Rich in texture, the Sorcha is a timeless investment piece that celebrates authentic Irish weaving with modern sophistication.
