On October 4, 2024, the beautiful Killashee Hotel in Co. Kildare buzzed with excitement as the Irish Made Awards celebrated the best of Irish craftsmanship, innovation, and sustainability. The event, hosted by Irish Country Magazine and sponsored by MINI, brought together talented creators, designers, and craft-makers from all corners of Ireland. Among the attendees were Triona's own Catriona Cassidy, Patricia Meehan, Holly Meehan, and Pauline Doogan, our dedicated Floor Manager at the Donegal Town store.

A Night to Remember

The atmosphere at the Killashee Hotel was electric as attendees mingled, networking and sharing stories of their journeys in the world of Irish design and craftsmanship. The Irish Made Awards highlight the incredible work being done by small, independent brands and the importance of supporting local talent.

Triona was delighted to be nominated for the Sustainability Award, showcasing our commitment to environmentally friendly practices and support for local craftsmanship. While we did not take home the award this year, being recognised among such esteemed company is an honour in itself.

Triona proudly showcased two stunning coats during this remarkable evening. Pauline Doogan dazzled in the new Teal Herringbone Erin Belted Coat, a piece that beautifully combines contemporary style with classic heritage. Catriona Cassidy, representing the next generation of Triona, wore the exquisite Black Twill Niamh Coat, exemplifying the brand's commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
